Art + Advocacy Planning Committee

The Art + Advocacy Committee plans and executes our annual Art + Advocacy fundraiser each spring. Art + Advocacy features an artsy theme, live auction, raffle prizes, games, photo booth, heavy hors d’evours, cash bar, live artist painting, and more! Committee membership includes identifying honorary chairs, securing sponsorships and donations, selling event tickets, developing the run-of-show timeline, setup/tear down, and more. If you are passionate about art and supporting children, have experience with event planning, or are detail-oriented, we have a role for you! We invite you to relive the night through our 13th Annual A+A Starry Night Auction Recap. Meetings are offered in a hybrid format for both in-person and virtual attendance.

Prevention Committee

Our Prevention Committee assesses local child abuse data and trends, identifies educational/support gaps in the community, develops action plans to reduce child abuse and neglect, plans Child Abuse Prevention Month (April) and Infant Safe Sleep Awareness Month (October) activities, and selects the “Champion for Children” recipient each year. We welcome parents, caregivers, working professionals, and those with lived experiences to this active committee that meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1:00pm. Meetings are offered in a hybrid format for both in-person and virtual attendance.
