If you suspect child abuse or neglect, make a confidential report to the State of Michigan’s 24/7 Abuse and Neglect Hotline (Centralized Intake) at 1-855-444-3911. Certain professions are required by law to report their concerns, though anyone with reasonable suspicion or belief can make a report. If you have immediate concerns regarding a child’s safety, call 911. Remember: it’s an adult’s responsibility to protect children from abuse. One call. One person can make a difference.
